Hey all,Loving this game so far, and only at the 4th boss (curse you, having to work in the morning), level 18ish, and wanting to go with a str/wis build. However, I haven't found much information on wisdom-scaling weapons; is it even worth it to attempt this build or will I just end up being melee with the ability to heal myself? Doesn't look to be much in the way of offensive prayer aside from the weapon buff abilities, Ray of Searing, and Sprites; suppose I'll have to wait short of a month to hurl some lightning bolts. Thanks all for the responses.EDIT: Also, have I goofed by going down the heavy armour tree a little bit rather than sticking with the light armour a Cleric starts with?.

There are wisdom scaling weapons but they seem to be later on.Notably:T5 sword with B scaling, T5 whip with A scaling, T5 poleaxe with S scaling, T3 reaper with B scaling, T5 bow with B scaling.I will say I don't feel weapon scaling is as critical in this game. I think high base damage weapons vs high scaling weapons the damage is closer than in some games.A as far as armor goes I don't think you did anything bad. I wore my T2 heavy armor the entire game even though I unlocked T4. I had my T2 highly upgraded and didn't feel like upgrading some other set. I finished the game just fine.

Just keep in mind you need extra Endurance for heavier equipment (especially if you want to retain faster rolls). I did check out that page, and yeah, although I initially was thinking of going maces, I do LOVE poleaxe/halberd type weapons, and with the sword not far off that might be an option too, although IIRC (at work right now) the sword scales a lot based on Dex also, which is less idea.Good to know about the armour; I can't wear my full class 1 right now or else I'll be fat-rolling, so I've mixed in some class 1 light armour for now until I get the endurance to roll right (queue RATM reference). Thanks for the response.

I don't know much about weapons that aren't guns or whips (actually the class 5 whip does scale primarily from WIS oddly enough. Unlikely you'd find yourself that far into the DEX side of the tree with your build though). But for the armor question: I think its totally justifiable to go for heavy armor.

I mean, Paladin is a thing anyways, right? Your light armor node that you start with will give you some much-needed carry capacity anyways so its not wasted. Step one in the process of healing yourself is staying alive long enough to throw a heal, right?.
