Role-playing game. Renowned writers Wolfgang Walk, Mark L. Barrett and Bob Bates tell the tale of Thomas 'Hawk' Blythe and his powerful adversary, Edward Teach, better known as the dreaded Blackbeard. It is as much a pirate tale as ever there was, and this is one to make the blood boil with love and honor, conspiracy and theft, violence and murder.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Marine themes run through Tortuga - Two Treasures and it is one of the reasons to buy the game. Pictures with incredibly clear oceanic water, yellow sand and beautiful blue sky are waiting for you. Sunset lights up sea battles, sailers are ploughing the seas in moon light; it looks really picturesque. I can say that any fairytale about brave corsairs, ladies got into troubles, chests full of piastres looks perfect with such the decorations. Characters with superb voice-over look away from realism; they look like cardboard mannequins. Even the main villain seems like to be modeled from secondhand cliché.
